TechPro Events announces new Director role
TechPro, a leading provider of lighting, video and sound services for the live events industry has announced a switch of role for Event Services Director Mike Foyle, who is now set to focus on improving the company’s communication and collaboration with its clients.
TechPro is heading to Amsterdam on 5 & 6 February to one of the largest events in the AV calendar. This time however, we will not be providing any of our own equipment to help deliver the event, but reviewing the equipment we’ll be investing in over the coming months.
Our clients think of us as the support crew that ensure their events go without a hitch; just the way we like it, away from the spotlight. But when one of your clients wins an award for the event they organised, it is good to know we played a part in delivering something special.
In a recent blog post describing our work at ESMO 18, a large conference for the leading European professional organisation for medical oncology, we touched on the number of batteries we used and recycled.
The event featured 52 meetings in 13 venues, spread across Munich and required a huge amount of equipment, much of it battery-powered to ensure another TechPro flawless delivery.
Now to many, Christmas is a time to consider batteries, with so many toys requiring them unless the big day is to be a complete disappointment, but quantity often wins out over quality.
Whilst the TechPro reputation is founded on treating every event with the same respect, giving our all regardless of size or venue, the large annual ESMO congress is a real test of our abilities and our resources.
We believe there is a long list of reasons why event organisers should choose to work with TechPro. Chief amongst them is our ability to combine highly qualified technical teams, quality-assured equipment and experienced project management to ensure ‘flawless delivery’ of live events.
Our Operations department here are currently undergoing a very environmentally friendly hardware update! With the whole team working from handheld tablets, this will allow us to go fully electronic and cut down on our use of paper.
